What we keep, and why.
Stylyd isn’t open yet. Right now this site does three things: it shows what we’re building, it checks whether the address you want is free, and it keeps your place on the waitlist. This page lists everything that takes, where it goes, and how to have it deleted.

What the card collects
- Your email. We need it to tell you when the doors open.
- The address you hold, like yourshop.stylyd.site.
- Your name, if you add it. It’s optional.
We also note whether the address was free when you held it, so we write to you about the right thing.
Checking an address
As you type, we check whether anyone on the waitlist holds that stylyd.site address, and ask the .com registry (Verisign) whether the matching .com is registered. We send the registry the name only, never your email. We keep its answer for ten minutes so we don’t ask twice.
Where your details go
- HubSpot keeps the waitlist: your email, your name, the address you held and the page you signed up on.
- Resend sends our emails, so it sees your email address and the message.
- Cloudflare runs this site. Like any web host, it sees each visitor’s IP address to deliver pages and stop abuse. We use your IP address to limit how many sign-ups and address checks come from one place in ten minutes, and that count is deleted after ten minutes.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks, invisibly, that a person and not a bot is sending the card. It looks at signals such as your IP address and browser, only to tell people from bots. Cloudflare explains what it collects in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum: cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.
- So two people can’t hold the same address, we store the address next to a scrambled, one-way version of your email, not the email itself.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
- Google Analytics counts visits: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are (a city or country, never a street address) and what kind of device they use. Google sets cookies whose names start with _ga to tell a return visit from a new one. Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address.
- HubSpot sets cookies (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssrc and __hssc) once you click or type on the page, so your sign-up is linked to your visits here. If you only read the page, it doesn’t load. HubSpot’s intent features also use those visits, including your IP address and the pages you view, to work out which company a visitor may be from, and to improve HubSpot’s own products.
- Your browser remembers the address you held, so the card still shows your stamp when you come back. That stays on your device, and clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and the card still works. Google offers a browser add-on that turns off Google Analytics on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Emails we send
One email to confirm your hold, then one on the day the doors open. We only ever email you about your address and the launch. Reply “stop” to any of them and we’ll take you off the list. A person reads every reply.
How long we keep it
Your waitlist details stay until you sign up or ask us to delete them. If you haven’t signed up within 12 months of the doors opening, we delete them.
Google Analytics keeps visit data for 14 months, then deletes it.
Your choices
Write to hello@stylyd.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We’ll do it within 30 days, usually much sooner. Stylyd is for people running a business and isn’t meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we’ll email the waitlist before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the last update.
