Every client you send to a marketplace gets an app full of other shops.
The same client, the same cut, booked two ways. Printed on the left is how the marketplace apps work. Written in on the right is what changes on your own page.
| Marketplace apps | Stylyd |
|---|---|
| Where they book | |
| On the app’s page, under its name. | On your page, at your own address. |
| On the way in | |
| Listed next to other shops in search, some paying to go first. | Nothing but your chair. |
| When you’re full | |
| Another shop is a tap away in the same app. | They join your waitlist. |
| The client list | |
| Yours to export, but they’re the app’s users too. | Downloads to your laptop any day. |
| What you pay | |
| A monthly fee, often plus a cut of new clients. | A flat $19 a month. |
| If you leave | |
| Your old link can send clients to other shops. | Your own .com is in your name. It keeps working. |
You don’t have to pick on day one. Keep your old app running while your clients move over.
